Is College For YOU? (Multicultural Zoom Series 1)
Tuesday, July 21, 2020
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time
We know that planning for college can feel overwhelming, and then deadlines begin to loom in the senior year of high school. To assist you, we've put together a zoom series that will cover everything from admission requirements and entrance exams to financial aid, scholarships, and college majors. You can attend any or all of the presentations.
The IUP Multicultural Recruitment Team wants to help. We are not just admissions counselors, but first- and second-generation college graduates who care about our students. Our team has over 30 years of experience helping families navigate the process, and we are confident we can help you as well.
This event will be held using Zoom, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions about what it is like to be a multicultural student at IUP.
Session Description: Choosing to attend college and deciding where you should enroll are important decisions. Trying to decide between community college, four year universities, trade schools, choices can be overwhelming. The weight of these decisions increases if you are the first person in your family that will earn a post-secondary education. Join us for a discussion where we will answer questions, share experiences and hopefully make the pathway to earning a college degree clearer.
After you register, you will receive email confirmation with instructions.
